ROQUE BAÑOS is one of the most successful and talented composers of film music in Spain and with an international career boosted by innovative scores for The MachinistEvil Dead and Ron Howard’s upcoming In the Heart of the Sea. A skilled conductor who made a huge impression with his Evil Dead concert suite at the International Film Music Festival in Córdoba, SpainBaños is the Soundtracks Live! suggested conductor for the Chiller Concerto program.

PETER BERNSTEIN is a composer and conductor whose musical experience began with his father, Elmer Bernstein. Eventually he became the lead orchestrator for him, working on films such as Animal House and Ghostbusters. As a composer in his own right he has scored films such as The Ewok Adventure. Bernstein is the perfect choice for Soundtracks Live! suggested conductor for the Soundtrack Legends: Elmer Bernstein concert program.

DON DAVIS is best known for his innovative scores for the Matrix trilogy. He has conducted the music from these films live to picture in numerous concert events around the world. A classically trained composer and conductor who has also written numerous concert works including the opera Río de Sangre, Davis is the Soundtracks Live! suggested conductor for the Space Symphony concert program which features a suite from The Matrix.

JOEL McNEELY is one of Hollywood’s leading composers of colorful orchestral scores and wrote music for A Million Ways to Die in the West, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, Disney’s Tinker Bell movies and many others. As a conductor he is known for his faithful recordings of classic Bernard Herrmann film scores released by Varèse Sarabande. McNeely is the Soundtracks Live! suggested conductor for the Soundtrack Legends: Bernard Herrmann, A Tribute to Alfred Hitchcock and Soundtrack Legends: Jerry Goldsmith programs.

BLAKE NEELY has composed numerous scores for film and television and is currently best known for hit series Arrow and The Flash. As a conductor, Neely has impressed audiences and musicians alike conducting demanding programs at the International Film Music Festival in Córdoba, Spain, and has conducted film scoring sessions for such composers as Hans Zimmer, Vangelis and James Newton Howard. Neely is the Soundtracks Live! suggested conductor for the Superhero Symphony programs which features selection from his own music for The Flash.

NIC RAINE is probably one of the busiest conductors of film music concerts and recordings of classical film music in the world. Given Raine’s background as the orchestrator for legendary composer John Barry, we are happy to offer Raine’s expertise as the Soundtracks Live! suggested conductor for the Soundtrack Legends: John Barry concert program.

ALLAN WILSON is one of the most experienced conductors active in the film music business. Apart from working on new film scores for composers such as Christopher Young, Brian Tyler, Danny Elfman, Patrick Doyle and John Ottman, he has also conducted many new recordings of classic film scores such as Miklós Rózsa’s Spellbound. Wilson has conducted the sessions for many of Christopher Young’s most legendary scores and is the Soundtracks Live! suggested conductor for Soundtrack Stars: Christopher Young.

ELIK ALVAREZ (Venezuela, Colombia, Costa Rica) is one of the most prolific film composers and conductors of his region. His scoring credits include the animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Yu-Gi-Oh, as well as a nature documentaries Galapagos 3D, Kingdom of Plants 3D and Micro Monsters 3D. He has conducted orchestras such as the Venezuela Symphony Orchestra, The Carabobo Symphony Orchestra and the Orquesta de Cordoba, Spain.

TUOMAS KANTELINEN (Finland) is the best known film composer of his country and an experienced conductor. He studied at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki and has composed big orchestral scores for films such as Mongol, Mindhunters and the Arn adventure movies.

ARTURO RODRIGUEZ (Mexico) is a composer of concert works (From Earth to Mars, Gate of Creation, El rostro de la luna) and film music (The Maid’s Room), and a conductor whose recent credits include a sold out John Williams tribute with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Boca del Río. He recently conducted Brian Tyler’s score for Furious Seven.

JAMES SHEARMAN (UK) has been the orchestrator and conductor for the world famous film composer Patrick Doyle for 15 years, having worked on films such as Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Thor and Rise of the Planet of the Apes. He regularly conducts film music in concert, and has worked with ensembles such as the London Philharmonia, the London Symphony Orchestra and the City of Birmingham Orchestra.

RYAN SHORE (Canada) was the assistant music director of the 2015 Academy Awards and is an experienced film composer and conductor who is best known for his Grammy nominated score for The Shrine, Numb and Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer. The nephew of Lord of the Rings composer Howard Shore, Ryan has a very deep knowledge of the film music repertoire.
